Most Important Gaming Equipment

Today the topic of discussion is the best gaming equipment for slaying newbs. On a more serious note, I think today you will grasp a bit more on why you need to invest into gaming as a hobby since it does require a bit of upkeep to a level.

Keyboard: When I say get a good keyboard, I dont mean the one that probably came with your momas Dell pc. Im talking pick yourself up a nice mechanical keyboard from Das or Razer. These are made for gaming and typing in general because they have a unique switch under every key that act faster then normal ones. Thye also usually have a nice clicky sound which makes it more fun and tactile when playing/typing. You can spend anywhere from 50 to 100 bucks and find a good mechanical keyboard so no need to splurge hard here.

Mouse: Similar to a keyboard you def want a nice gaming mouse. They are made to be smoother and more accurate then normal mouses. You can find them for less than $50 on Amazon and I personally like ones from Steel Series.

Monitor: You're probably going to spend $150-200 for a nice gaming monitor. They are made to be better in low lighting, show more detail, reduce eye strain and more benefits.

PC: My opinion is probably a bit different then most gamers but honestly I don't think you need a crazy desktop or laptop. As long as it has a up to date CPU/GPU and a good enough power supply, you will be able to play games like CS, WoW, and League on good gettings, do multiple tasks at once and have a lot of storage. RAM is also important and i dont think you need more than 8GB, but 16GB is max.

Besides these things, a headset is another piece of gear you want but as long as it has good mic/audio quality you dont need anything fancy. In games like CS hearing people first is a big deal but for most games it isnt a deal breaker. Keep your drivers up to date and take good care of your equipment and it will last very long. My mechanical keyboard has lasted me over 6 or 7 years at this point.
